Program Information

We at Marsh are very proud to announce that we will be launching our Fresh Ideas for Education program, once again this August, for the 2012-13 school year. This is the 7th year of the program and to date, Marsh has contributed over $1,550,000.00 to local schools in educational equipment and supplies. We are committed to place even more educational equipment in schools this year and want your school to earn as much equipment as possible. In fact, we are making $275,000 available for this year’s campaign!

Schools and parents love the Marsh Fresh Ideas for Education program because, unlike fundraisers, there is nothing to sell. Supporting a school is as easy as shopping for groceries. Points are tallied for every item purchased by school supporters who register their Marsh Fresh IDEA Card, O’Malia’s CouponPlus Card or MainStreet Market Reward$ Card for a school. And, once again this year we will be including some additional incentives to the program.

For instance, beginning August 13th through September 2nd, every dollar spent by program participants when using their Marsh Fresh IDEA card on Marsh store brands, (Food Club, Valu Time and Top Care) will earn double points. As the year unfolds we will communicate to our participating schools other ways that participating families can help schools earn a larger share of the equipment available this year.

For schools, the more people that sign up to support your school and shop Marsh, O’Malia’s and MainStreet Market, the bigger share of equipment your school will earn.

Everyone at Marsh Supermarkets is committed to the communities we serve and to the great schools that play such an important role in framing our future. We are also committed to making Fresh Ideas for Education successful for you and your school.
